Honiton's Leisure Centre offers a range of exciting fitness options, and this month there is a special offer!

Usually when people join the LED Leisure Centre, they pay an initial joining fee of £10 and then pay pro-rate for the rest of the month. However, for the month of September, new members will simply pay their £10 fee and then their first direct debit will be taken on 15 October.

The special offer applies to all memberships at the centre, including Aqua, Junior and Swimming.

Naomi Symons spoke to Nub News about the special offer. She said: "It is a great offer, and will save people money.

"Usually you pay the joining fee of £10 plus the remainder of the month, but we have waived that this month.

"The sooner you join in September, the more you will save!"

The LED Leisure Centre is located on School Lane. It offers a very well-equipped gym which has a range of machines and equipment. There is also an enormous range of classes available, including Body Balance, Virtual Cycling and Dance Fit. .

The centre also offers supportive and personalised courses for people recovering from cancer, heart attacks and those living with joint pain and arthritis.

As well as the gym and the classes, the centre offers a newly refurbished 25-metre swimming pool with changing rooms.

The LED are doing their bit for the Honiton community and are offering heavily subsidised swimming lessons to children in certain year groups at Honiton Community College. You can read more about that here.

How much is it to join?

The All in Membership is £39.75 a month, which includes the gym, group classes, swimming and indoor and outdoor sports (such as tennis and badminton.)

The Aqua Membership is £29.75 and includes public swimming, Aqua Group Exercise Classes and SwimFit activities.

There are other membership options available depending on what you are most interested in, and they can all be cancelled with just a months' notice.

If you are a member of Honiton Leisure Centre you are able to use any of the other centres as well, for example in Sidmouth, Ottery, Exmouth or Seaton.
