Honiton Leisure Centre users are being given advice on the membership costs after the centre's operator, LED Community Leisure, closed the centre after Government advice.
The centre was closed after the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, instructed all UK leisure centres to close as soon as possible in a statement over the weekend.
All memberships, rents and lettings have been suspended 'until further notice'.
A spokesperson for LED Community Leisure said: "Further to the Prime Minister's announcement on 20 March 2020, all leisure centres across the country were instructed to close as soon as possible.
"This means that all LED Community Leisure facilities were closed until further notice from Friday evening (20 March 2020). The LED executive management team took the decision to suspend all memberships, rents and lettings with immediate effect until further notice.
"LED Members do not need to cancel their membership subscriptions, as payments will not be collected until the future is clear.
"Although our centres will be closed, the good news is that customers can still exercise with LED Community Leisure. We have put plans in place to offer a range of exercise options to keep everyone active in the safety and comfort of their own home.
"For those at home with school-aged children, we will also have ideas for how they can have fun exercising together.
"We will be maintaining our social media presence over the coming weeks, believing that engaging together in fitness discussions and activities, albeit remotely, will be a good service to provide for our local communities.
"Thereafter, we very much look forward to a time when we welcome our members and customers back into our centres."
Further information is available on the LED Community Leisure website and social media pages.
