Two of the four pharmacies in Honiton will be closed over the festive bank holidays.

Honiton Nub News has put together this handy guide to make sure you do not get caught out by the Christmas and New Year closures.

While some will remain open over the festive period, opening times may be different to usual and you may have to travel further afield to pick up prescriptions.

Here is the official list of opening times and closures over Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve for the Honiton area.

The following Honiton pharmacies will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day:

-Boots Pharmacy, 70 High Street, Honiton, EX14 1PD.

-Lloyds Pharmacy, Marlpits Road, Honiton, EX14 2NY.

The following pharmacies will be opening at some point during the festive period:

-Boots Pharmacy, 123 High Street, Honiton, EX14 1HR. The High Street pharmacy will be open between 10am and 4pm on Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

-Tesco Pharmacy, Battishorne Way, Honiton, EX14 2XD. The Tesco pharmacy will be open between 1pm and 3pm on Christmas Day.

In nearby Ottery St Mary both the Boots Pharmacy in Broad Street and the Well Pharmacy on Canaan Way will be closed throughout the Christmas and New Year period.
