A Honiton photographer has joined Photographers Without Frontiers, a national initiative raising money to say thank you to the NHS.

So far the initiative has raised more than £2,600 but Honiton photographer Krista Radzina is hoping to raise much more.

Krista has also been working on another initiative, selecting a few individuals working for the NHS and gifting them a photo session worth £160 each.

A photo session with Krista Radzina Photography can create photos you will treasure forever.

Krista told Nub News: "This is a 'thank you' from a very personal perspective, but especially during this national pandemic, people working for the NHS are saving other people's lives whilst risking their own. In my opinion, this is true heroism and all of us can do more to show our appreciation.

"I have always admired the NHS workers who looked after my beloved mum for the last four years of her life and the care she and our whole family received was second to none. Now it's my time to give back a little and I encourage others to do the same as if not now, at some point, we will all be looking for help from the NHS.

"I'm looking to raise funds by joining Photographers Without Frontiers."

Launched by Ronan Ryle and internationally renowned photographer, Damian McGillicuddy. Photographers Without Frontiers sees over 100 photographers from all over the UK come together to offer families a chance to capture a precious image of their loved ones and at the same time raise funds for the NHS.

Krista added: "The Photographers Without Frontiers is a great initiative to be involved with, what we ask is for people to make a minimum donation of £10 through our Just Giving page to the 'NHS Charities Together'.

"In return they will receive a voucher from us which entitles them to a free portrait session with myself and a web image for them to use online saying they have supported the NHS."

'NHS Charities Together' play an important role in contributing to provide services that are above and beyond what the NHS alone can provide.

They are also a forum for nationwide fundraising and advocacy campaigns, offering specialist advice and guidance and bespoke training, as well as access to online resources for those who need them.

If you'd like to know more about "Photography without Frontiers" or you wish to donate, please check out the national web page.
