Honiton could soon be welcoming a Domino's Pizza to the High Street.

The company behind Domino's has submitted a planning application to open where HSBC bank used to be.

It was announced by HSBC in November that several of their branches would close in 2023, and the Honiton branch closed last month.

Domino's has applied for planning permission to move into the currently vacant address at 86 High Street.

The restaurant would have a customer waiting area and would be open from 11am - 11pm.

Town councillor for St. Michaels, Jenny Brown has shared her support for the application. Her comment on the East Devon District Council website states: "I am in favour of this commercial business making use of an empty premises."
