The owners of the Combe Farm Shop have submitted a planning application which would see them move to a larger site.

Currently located near the new Hayne Farm housing estate on the edge of Honiton, the Combe Farm Shop and cafe is an award-winning farm shop with a small cafe attached.

The proposed new site is adjacent to the current Combe Garden Centre, which is located on Hayne Layne.

The new building would be larger than the current shop and would be more energy efficient.

A statement on the Combe Farm Shop site has asked customers to back the application and states: "Please support us!

"We are hoping to relocate to new premises next to the Combe Garden Centre.

"If you like the idea of an independent food outlet selling local produce in a sustainable location, we would be very appreciative if you would be prepared to send a letter of support to East Devon District Council."

You can see the application and submit a comment here.
