Honiton: Police appeal for information after 3-car crash injures 9 people

A crash which took place on Saturday 26 November injured 9 people and police are appealing for information.

The incident occurred near Rawridge and it led to the closure of the A30 near Honiton.

Emergency services were called at approximately 2.45pm to reports of a road traffic collision. Three cars were involved - an orange Vauxhall Crossland, a grey Mitsubishi ASX and a grey Kia Rio.

9 people were treated for injuries. 4 of the injured people were taken to hospitals across the region.

The driver and a passenger in the Vauxhall Crossland remain in hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries. The man is in his 60s and the woman is in her 90s. They are from the Working area of Surrey.

All the other people have been discharged from hospital.

The A30 near between Honiton and Upottery was closed as Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended the scene as part of the investigation.
