Honiton: Police appeal for witnesses after fatal collision

Yesterday (January 12) at around 7am emergency services were called to an accident on the A30.

The incident took place on the eastbound carriageway of the A30 near the Turks Head junction. It involved a pedestrian, a van and a heavy goods vehicle.

Ambulances, Devon and Cornwall Police and National Highways attended the scene and the road was closed until the evening.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Roads Policing Team are looking for witnesses who saw the incident or the pedestrian. He was wearing dark clothing.
