A walk held yesterday (Sunday 7 November) to see the military graves at St Michael's Church has raised more than £130 for this year's Poppy Appeal.

The walk, and subsequent tour of the church, was organised by Paul Shaw of the Honiton branch of the Royal British Legion, and led by local historians Terry Darrant and Martin Long.

It is the third such event organised due to its popularity in recent years.

In total, £139.45 was raised for this year's Poppy Appeal, which is also the 100th anniversary of the Royal British Legion.

Poppy Appeal goes cashless
