The Met Office has issued a weather warning which is expected to affect Honiton in the coming days.

A yellow warning for snow and ice has been put in place for Wednesday and Thursday (Dec 31).

According to the weather site there is "a small chance of disruption from snow and ice."

This could mean that "bus and train services may be delayed or cancelled, with some road closures and longer journey times."

People should exercise extra caution to "avoid slips and falls on icy surfaces."

Tomorrow (Tuesday) looks brighter, with sunny spells and the possibility of the odd shower in the afternoon.

Wednesday is forecast to be colder and more overcast, with the likelihood of a heavy icy downfall at around 3pm.

Thursday will be cold and dry, but possibly brighter with patches of sunshine breaking through the cloud.
