Honiton’s Annual Town Meeting taking place today and everyone is invited to attend
Honiton's Annual Town Meeting will take place today (Tuesday 11 April) at The Beehive.
The meeting offers an opportunity for the residents of Honiton to hear news and updates from Honiton Town Council and attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions.
Stephen Hill is the Honiton Town Clerk. He told Nub News: "The Annual Town Meeting will take place later today.
"This is the annual meeting for the Town to hear news from the Town Council and ask any questions.
"The Town Council welcomes as many people as possible to attend this Town meeting.
"Council Grant recipients have been invited and some will speak about their work. The meeting is aimed to be both fun and informative. "
There will be a presentation from the Chairman and Mayor, Serena Sexton.
This will be followed by speeches from the Chairs of various committees, including Cllr Jake Bonetta from Strategy, Cllr Kate Cloke from Green and Open Spaces, Cllr Robert Fowles from Planning, Cllr Tony McCollum from the Town Management Committee and Serena Sexton from Human Resources.
Cllr Kate Cloke will also provide an update from the King's Coronation Working Group, who are putting together plans for May's events.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday 11 April at 7.00 pm at The Beehive.
