Honiton's Remembrance services to take place tomorrow and Sunday

Honiton will pay observe two Remembrance day services this week.

Tomorrow (11 November) there will be a short homage at the war memorial, which is located outside St. Paul's Church on Honiton High Street. This will commence at 10.45am and a two minutes silence will take place at 11am.

On Sunday (November 13) there will be a larger event.

A parade will form at The Star on New Street at 2.15pm. It will set off at 2.30pm and will move towards St. Paul's Church for a service at 3pm. Members of the Royal British Legion, veterans and local youth groups will be present.

Last year approximately 1,500 people attended the services.
