Honiton's Gate to Plate returned to the High Street today and hundreds of people turned out to enjoy the event.

A warm and sunny day brought out the crowds today, much to the delight of the stall holders and organisers.

A large section of the High Street was closed to traffic making for a jovial atmosphere.

The festival was organised by eat: Festivals, who host a range of food and drink events across the South West.

Visitors and locals enjoyed pursuing over 50 stalls of local produce and most of the shops were busy with customers.

People were able to sample a range of products, including traditional puddings and different cheeses.

There was also hot food available, including a Thai pop-up (which had a long queue!) hot sandwiches, loaded macaroni & cheese and hot dogs.
