For many older people, regular social activities are a very much enjoyed lifeline for those living on their own. However, many of these activities are still on hold due to current social distancing guidelines.

With this in mind the team at locally based home care provider, Home Instead have produced a free 16-page booklet containing mind-challenging quizzes and puzzles.

The booklet also contains contact details of local health and social care services for the elderly plus details of several other Home Instead publications aimed specifically at how older can live well and independently in their homes.

The booklets have been distributed to all Home Instead clients living in Honiton and the wider area plus many other lonely and vulnerable adults in the community free of charge.

Said Director Vanessa McGlade: "We were very aware that many of clients were feeling the effects of social isolation caused by not being able to see family and friends.

"With this mind we hope our quiz booklets will give our clients several hours of enjoyment."

If you would like to receive a FREE copy of the quiz and puzzle booklet or find out more about the services offered by Home Instead please call 01395 200600 or click here for the website.
