A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving a tractor.

At approximately 5.44pm yesterday (Tuesday, June 16), police were called to reports of a two vehicle collision, involving a motorcycle and a tractor, at Tower Cross on the A35, Honiton.

The male rider of the motorcycle was taken to the RD&E Hospital in Exeter with serious injuries which are not life threatening, and his next of kin have been informed. The road was closed while a full scene examination was conducted.

Officers from the Roads Policing Team attended and are now appealing for witnesses, those who may have seen the collision, or either vehicle prior to the collision, or who may have dash camera footage, to contact police, quoting log number 660 of 16/06/20.
