A new bus service has been launched which will link Honiton with Colyton, Colyford and Seaton.
Devon County Council has received funding from the Department of Transport to create a new bus route to connect more local communities in Devon.
The new X30 Exeter Express Service will run Monday - Friday, connecting Seaton to Exeter via Colyford, Colyton and Honiton.
The service will also provide new links from the Seaton area to Skypark, Exeter Science Park, The Met Office, Exeter Business Park and Exeter College Technology Centre.
From Honiton the bus will travel on the A30, providing a much faster service to these locations than previously.
There will be three services a day.
Stagecoach will operate the route and the £2 single fare cap will apply to single journeys until the end of June 2023.
Councillor Andrea Davis, Devon County Council Cabinet Member for Climate Change, Environment and Transport, said: "The new and enhanced links provided by these bus services will enable many more communities to benefit from better public transport connectivity.
"Despite a difficult financial backdrop we're continuing to do everything we can for bus passengers and ensuring that the funding available for bus services goes as far as possible."
