Operation Rudolph highlights power of collective effort in hard times

Earlier in the week, Jason Hannay and Nick Allen (TRIP driver) were out and about across East Devon bringing joy to many.
Operation Rudolph Honiton volunteers have spent several weeks collecting, sorting and wrapping Christmas presents for those who may otherwise have nothing from Santa.
The volunteers have been overwhelmed by the kindness and support from the community who have stepped up to help their peers.
There were also many small businesses who donated; with special thanks to Porkies the Butcher, Combe Farm Estate and Garden Centre, plus grants from the Norman and Gibbon Trusts.
A spokesperson for Operation Rudolph said: "This is not about any one individual, but many individuals and groups, such as The King's Centre, The Round Table, The Family Church - for allowing us to use their room - all working selflessly to help others without need for recognition."
