As The Beehive continues its socially-distanced cinema season, we take a look at this week's big screen offering.

In PETER RABBIT™ 2: THE RUNAWAY, the lovable rogue is back. Bea, Thomas, and the rabbits have created a makeshift family, but despite his best efforts, Peter can't seem to shake his mischievous reputation. Venturing out of the garden, Peter finds himself in a world where his mischief is appreciated, but he has to reconsider the cost when his family risks everything to come looking for him.

The film is directed by Will Gluck and the voice cast includes James Corden as Peter Rabbit, Rose Byrne, Domhnall Gleeson and David Oyelowo.

Executive producer Doug Belgrad said: "What makes the Peter Rabbit movies resonate with family audiences is that while they are delightfully funny and entertaining, they don't shy away from exploring relatable and weighty emotional issues.

"In this movie, Peter is forced to confront whether he is 'good' and discover his own true nature. Simultaneously, he also has to grapple with the existential threat posed by the prospective arrival of Bea and Thomas's human baby."

The Beehive will be putting on two screenings on Saturday 26th June at 4pm and 7.30pm. Book in a group of up to six from any number of households, or in a group of any size from up to two households. Box office: 01404 384050 or www.beehivehoniton.co.uk
