No gatherings this year - but you can still do a Twilight Walk for Hospiscare

Expect to see plenty of people in pink sparkly costumes on East Devon's streets and pathways on Saturday, July 10, as they take part in their own Twilight Walks for Hospiscare.
Because of Covid restrictions, participants can't gather in one location. Instead, they can choose their own local route, and their own distance, and walk in small groups.
Each participant will get their own Twilight kit through the post, with a limited edition Twilight t-shirt, themed goodies and a special medal commemorating the 15th year the event has taken place.
And although they can't gather in person, they will be sent a link to a welcome and warm-up video, and a post-walk after-party with music and entertainment.
Hospiscare is urging people to take part and get sponsored, as this year the support of the local community is more vital than ever. Because of Covid-19, the charity is facing a deficit of more than £1.5 million, but has continued caring for patients and their families throughout the pandemic.
Honiton is a key location for Hospiscare. Its day hospice in the town, Kings House, offers clinical, therapeutic and emotional support services for patients and their families – although non-clinical face-to-face services had to be suspended due to Covid-19.
Registration for this year's Twilight with a Twist closes at midnight on July 4. The entry fee only covers the cost of the event, so each participant is asked to raise sponsorship or donate £50.
