Honiton's annual Christmas Carnival will take place on Saturday, 14 December, starting promptly at 5.30pm.
Santa, as part of the traditional Round Table Christmas float will lead the procession up through the High Street, followed by festively decorated entries on their final outing of the year.
Speaking on behalf of the Honiton Carnival Committee, Karen Wilson said: "Unlike the October carnival, this one is purely for fun and there's no competing involved, the participants are just there to fill the High Street with the sights and sounds of Christmas.
"Look out for the usual Christmas characters, along with some not so usual – the Honiton Carnival Committee being a prime example.
"You never know, there may even be some snow falling!
"Please don't forget your loose change again.
"I know we keep asking, but all of our profit does go to good causes within the town and every little helps.
"There will be a collecting float in the procession, but please keep children away from the float as it can be very dangerous if they get too close."
Road closures and diversions will take effect from 5pm until approximately 6.30pm.
There are no parking restrictions along the High Street, although drivers are advised to keep the route clear of parked cars.
