September's crime figures for Honiton revealed

Latest police figures have reported that there were 55 recorded crimes in Honiton last month - with a further 10 in the rural area surrounding the town.

The Rural East Devon Policing Team's Honiton newsletter published today (Oct 30) shows a breakdown of the number of crimes reported, and the nature of those offences.

In Honiton Town, seven incidents of violence with injury and 13 of violence without injury were logged during the month of September 2020.

Other crimes included seven incidents of burglary, two possession of weapons, one drug trafficking and nine incidents of criminal damage.

Crimes recorded for Honiton Rural included four incidents of violence without injury and two public order offences.

There are two upcoming opportunities to meet the local policing team for Honiton at the Market on the High Street on Tuesday 10 November from 10am - 2pm and again on November 24, at the same time and place.
