UPDATE: Honiton Community Coronavirus Support Network
Honiton residents are fortunate to live in a town with an inbuilt health care system, comprised of support groups and professionals who are working together to protect those most at risk during the coronavirus outbreak.
Below is a comprehensive list of the support available for those who are vulnerable, or require extra help at this difficult time.
All of these Honiton based services are being coordinated and have adapted their operations to assist accordingly.
One of those overseeing 'joining up the dots' in this crisis is Heather Penwarden.
She said: "We are concerned that amongst all the great work been done in our community through these difficult times there are few devious people who are not acting in the best interest of others.
"We need to be mindful of this and where possible only accept help from someone who is known or trusted or belongs to a recognised organisation like the ones in our Honiton Support Network.
"If in doubt about anyone offering help, please check in with our Information Line."
