Urgent Community Response Worker needed in Honiton

As a result of Honiton's Urgent Community Response Service's recent expansion the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust (RD&E) is looking for an Urgent Community Response Support Worker.
Urgent Community Response is a joint Health and Social Care Service providing support to people in their own homes in times of crisis, to avoid unnecessary admissions to hospital and facilitate discharges home from hospital.
Due to the expansion of the Urgent Community Response Service, the trust is looking to recruit Support Workers in Honiton, Ottery St Mary and Cranbrook.
A spokesperson for RD&E said: "The service provides care across Eastern Devon communities and you will be part of the locality team in Honiton, Ottery St Mary and Cranbrook providing a quality service promoting independence, dignity and support.
"This service aims to avoid the admission for patients who could safely be maintained and supported at home, as well as enabling people to return to their home as quickly as possible from hospital.

The hours are fully flexible over seven days a week, between the hours of 7.30am and 10pm.
The service provides care across Eastern Devon communities and you will be part of the Locality team in Honiton, Ottery St Mary and Cranbrook providing a quality service promoting independence and dignity.
Previous experience would be useful but is not essential as the teams will give you support and guidance. As this is a community based position, a driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential.
The positions pays between £18,813 and £20,795 per annum. The closing date for this role is February 12.
