Friday 14 October: See how they Run

The Beehive, Honiton. 7.30pm Tickets: Adults £7.50, Under 16s are £6.50

Welcome to the West End in 1950s. Plans for a movie version of a smash-hit play come to an abrupt halt after a pivotal member of the crew is murdered. When world-weary Inspector Stoppard (Sam Rockwell) and eager rookie Constable Stalker (Saoirse Ronan) take on the case, the two find themselves thrown into a puzzling whodunit within the glamorously sordid theatre underground, investigating the mysterious homicide at their own peril.

Empire said: "See How They Run is the whodunnit as hoot, with lots of laughs, oodles of style and played with verve by a quality cast. It also reconfirms Saoirse Ronan as a comedy god."

Saturday 15: British Ugandan Asians at 50

Opening today, this historic exhibition is not to be missed. Thelma Hulbert is hosting an installation organised by British Ugandan Asians at 50. It marks 50 years since Indian and Pakistanis were forcibly expelled from Uganda by Idi Amin. Many of these people were British citizens.

The exhibition provides recorded oral histories which capture the recollections of those who were residents of resettlement camps, or who volunteered to help with the reception of the expellees during the crucial early months after their arrival.

The Thelma Hulbert is open Wednesday – Saturday from 10am – 5pm
