Friday 13 January: She Said

The Beehive, 7.30pm. Tickets: Adults £7.50, U16 £6.50

Academy Award nominee Carey Mulligan (Promising Young Woman, An Education) and Zoe Kazan (The Plot Against America, The Big Sick) star as the New York Times reporters who together broke one of the most important stories in a generation and brought decades of silence to an end. 

The Guardian gave the film four stars and The Standard described it as a 'marvel'.

Saturday 14 January: A Language of Seeds

Thelma Hulbert Gallery, Honiton. The gallery is open 10am - 3pm Wednesday to Saturday.

An interesting and unusual exhibition is opening on January 14 at Thelma Hulbert.

A Language of Seeds is a series of photographs celebrating the artist Léonie Hampton's vegetable garden, family and friends, and is a response to the Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery (RAMM)'s botany collection.

Saturday 14 January: Reg Meuross

The Beehive, Honiton. 7.30pm. Tickets are £14 (allocated seating).

Come along to hear one of England's finest writers. Reg Meuross will be performing brand new songs as well as performing 14 known songs.

The Guardian said: "Reg is a classic, with echoes of early Dylan, Tom Paxton and Leonard Cohen"
