As well as the film screening, The Beehive will also be hosting a special pre-film lunch in their newly reopened cafe. Lunch will be served in the Beehive Café from 1pm, with the film starting at 2.15pm.

The lunch options are ham or cheese ploughman's (GF is available), quiche, new potatoes and salad (a vegetarian option) or homemade carrot & coriander soup with a roll.

Tickets for the film are £7.50 for adults (under 16s are £6.50) and tickets for the film and lunch are £12.50 for adults and £11:50 for under 16s.

A spokesperson for The Beehive told Nub News about the new event: "Here at The Beehive, we are conscious of the need to appeal to a wider audience and are trying to incorporate a more social aspect to some of our events.

"We would like to encourage community members to come together for an enjoyable lunch and chat in our recently reopened café, followed by an enjoyable film.

On June 22 Allelujah, an emotional film starring Dame Judy Dench and Jennifer Saunders, will be shown with the option of an afternoon tea before the film.
