Events coming up in Honiton
Saturday: Quiz Night
Come along to the Talaton Village Hall for a Quiz Night in aid of TRIP Befriending Service.
Tickets are £8 per person with teams up to 6 people.There will be a licenced bar and food sharing platters available.
Please arrive at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
Saturday: The Wild Escape Family event
Join Thelma Hulbert Gallery in celebrating Earth Day with the Wild Escape in this family-friendly special event.
The gallery needs your help to reanimate Honiton's famous hippo! The hippo procession will set off from Honiton Primary to Thelma Hulbert at 3pm.
Once at the gallery, there will be music, food and craft activities.
The event is free and there will be a pay bar, music from Honiton Brass Band, an acoustic set with singer-songwriter Chris Ostler, face painting and wood-fired pizzas.
4pm - 7pm at Thelma Hulbert Gallery.
Friday 21: Live Music: Flats and Sharp
The Beehive. Starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £15
Cornish-based Flats and Sharp are a four-piece bluegrass outfit who have been delivering their energetic and enthusiastic music to fans around the world for more than ten years. Their shows include a wide variety of influences, from a fresh and modern outlook on foot-stomping Bluegrass material through to their powerful and well-crafted original songs, with beautiful moments everywhere in between.
Fred Deller, Mojo said: "The picking is exhilarating, the harmony vocals precise. You can but admire."
