Friday: Honiton Camera Club Meeting
7.30pm at Honiton Methodist Church
The second of the annual end of season competition evenings.
Trophies to be competed for will be: Best Digitally Projected Image, Joan Blackledge Trophy (3 prints on a theme), Project Trophy (Reproducing or re-imagining a classic film poster or album cover) and John Moxon Trophy (Best DPI on a gardens theme).
The judge will be Malcolm Macnaughton.
The meeting starts at 7.30 pm and there will be refreshments available. New members and visitors (£3) are welcome to attend.
Sunday: Pierre's Cafe
Come along to Pierre's Café for this monthly pop-up.
This month the French chef will be serving chicken casserole and vegan salsify ragout. There will also be delicious cake made by his wife as well as croissants and pain au chocolates in the morning.
From 10am - 4pm in Gittisham Village Hall. Booking is recommended.
Saturday: Subtitled Cinema: My Sailor, My Love (12)
The 3.30pm showing will be subtitled to enable those hard of hearing to enjoy the film. The film will also be shown at 7.30pm.
In what the Sunday Times called a 'tender and laced with integrity' film, this romantic drama stars James Cosmo, Catherine Walker and Bríd Brennan.
Adult tickets are £7.50 and under 16s are £6.50. The bar will be open an hour before the film and drinks can be taken into the showing.
