Friday: Confluence: Where Imaginations Meet

Confuence will take place in Awiliscombe this weekend (Creative Beings)

Creative Beings, The Old Rectory Studio, Awliscombe, EX14 3PJ

Join poets Chris Fogg and Chris Waters and saxophonist and composer Rob Yockney for a summer's evening of music and creativity.

This event is the second collaboration between the two poets and musician Rob. Their first performance, Que Pasa? was performed at various locations across the UK including at Amnesty International Totnes and Taunton Brewhouse. 

There will be a cash bar open from 7pm.

Saturday: Afternoon Tea Dance

Come along to The Beehive for an afternoon of dancing and afternoon tea (The Beehive)

What a special event! Come along to The Beehive for their first ever dance and afternoon tea. 

Two hours of dancing will commence at 3pm (a delicious afternoon tea will be served in the Beehive Café halfway through.)

The dancing will be led by Exmouth-based couple Sheryl and Jon, who have been leading dancing sessions together for three decades. 

Tickets are £10, which includes afternoon tea. They can be booked here.

Saturday: Family Printing Workshop

The workshop is to raise awareness of the volume of plastic in the sea (Thelma Hulbert)

Either 11am - 12.30pm or 1.30 - 3.00pm at Thelma Hulbert Gallery, Honiton.

Join printmaker Karen Bowskill for this special family printing session, which is part of Marine Week.

Children can make a striking image of a fish for a t-shirt by printing over fish silhouettes and beach-combed plastics.

Bring a t-shirt, or alternatively use the provided materials and apply the print to a t-shirt at home.

£5 per person - spaces are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
