The Beehive welcomes you to an Afternoon Tea Dance.

Starting at 3pm for 1 hour of dance with a break for a beautiful afternoon tea in The Beehive Cafe, followed by another hour of dancing.

Traditional ballroom and latin dancing to CD's led by Sheryl and Jon. This will include the traditional tea dance sequence dances and some ballroom dancing. We might even include a bit of old time or a party dance that everyone can have a go at!

About Sheryl and John

We have been dancing ballroom and latin since the late 1990's. We live in Exmouth and dance socially in Exeter and East Devon. We particularly enjoy sequence dancing and love the challenge of new dances and in recent years we have been asked to help others learn too. We run monthly socials and tea dances and have a weekly get- together to practise and learn. We don't take ourselves too seriously, we dont do medals and we are not qualified teachers but people seem to like our relaxed and informal style! We were asked to organise and run dance holidays and now we also run small teaching classes to encourage new beginners.

Sequence dancing is so good for you, great exercise for the body and mind, so if you are looking to dance socially in East Devon you would be assured of a very warm welcome at any of our events.
