A woman who has co-ordinated an important befriending service in Honiton for the last seven years has officially stepped down from the role.
The candidates for this year's East Devon district, town and parish council elections have now been revealed, with the elections taking place on Thursday, May 2.
The nominations list shows that two of East Devon District Council's 30 electoral wards are uncontested – Exmouth Withycombe Raleigh ward (two seats) and Clyst Valley ward (one seat) – which means that three of the council's 60 seats, have been returned unopposed.
