A recipe idea posted to Honiton Nub News has won a £25 Co-op food voucher.

Nub News readers were asked to submit their recipe ideas for a special Valentine's meal, and a recipe posted on Honiton Nub News was chosen as a winner.

Melanie Booth's recipe suggestion used partridge to make a very special meal. She said: "This is a delicious dish I made a while back, which I am thinking about making for Valentine's Day too.

"It is roasted partridge with bacon, sautéed spinach, walnuts and feta, buttered new potatoes, and a drizzle of honey mustard dressing.

"It is a really nice combination of flavours. It also works really well using chicken instead pf partridge for when you cannot get hold of partridge, or it isn't the right season."

Nub News thought this recipe sounded delicious, so well done to Melanie!
