A Honiton resident celebrated the King Charles' coronation earlier this month with a free Co-op party pack.

Pat Arnold won the free pack which contained everything needed to get the community celebration started, including crowns, bunting, invitations, cake flags, cake stand, recipe booklet, selfie frame, hand flags, street chalks and a £5 Co-op gift card.

Pat told Nub News: "We were grateful to receive the party pack. It was nice to decorate our tables and front gardens. We'll make good use of the wildflower seeds. Thirty people from Willow Walk joined together for a very pleasant get together.

"I called it 'Meet your Neighbours and Make New Friends' - which we did! To finish we sang "God Save The King " accompanied by one of our new friends on the saxophone."

Earlier this year the Co-op invited Nub News readers to share their special Valentine's Day recipe ideas to win a £25 Co-op voucher.
