A newly established independent gift shop in Ottery St. Mary.

In these uncertain times I'm doing all I can to keep my little business afloat.

I'm sure all local small businesses feel the same: anxious, uncertain and quite frankly scared.

In order to adapt to the times I've rolled out free local delivery.

On Mothers Day I aim to deliver to ALL local areas including Sidmouth, Ottery St. Mary, Whimple, Feniton, Honiton, Newton Poppleford and the surrounding villages/areas.

In the coming weeks this is something I'd be doing more of and adapting with the times.

I'd be looking at a rotating delivery root, implementing government guidelines on social distancing and taking into consideration those who are self-isolating.

I'm also setting up a 'send a card' service for those who are self isolating but want to get a message to loved ones.

I'm in talks with other local businesses to see how I can assist them and perhaps organise a local 'click and collect' service point for our indie shops, especially those who have reduced their opening hours or have children at home now.

I'd urge everybody to continue shopping from independents and support us where you can. We need you now more than ever.
