Honiton Scouts: Group Awards

Nancy Craven – the newly appointed East Devon Scouts District Commissioner – presented Sue and Ray with their awards this week.
Due to Covid, they were a little overdue but Nancy made sure that the awards were presented as soon as she got them. One of the perks of being a district commissioner!
Sue gained her wood beads for completing all of her training as a Beaver Leader. Sue has put in a lot of hard work to gain these, so its brilliant that she can now wear them with pride.
Ray was awarded his for his good service to the Scout Group.
I would be lost without my husband's help, with all the little jobs that need doing in the hall and garden. I have been in Scouting for many years and he has always been there to lend a hand with whatever needs doing. The Scout Group would truly be lost without his help.
The Scout Group would like to congratulate Sue and Ray on their awards.
