UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, is not only leading the country through the Covid-19 pandemic, but is fighting his own battle for survival having contracted the virus.

Mr Johnson is currently in intensive care in St Thomas' Hospital in London, with the latest reports confirming that he is 'responding well to treatment'.

Fellow Conservative MP for the Honiton and Tiverton constituency, Neil Parish wished the Prime Minister well in a recent post on social media.

Mr Parish wrote: "The PM is a larger than life character; full of energy and fighting spirit.

"My thoughts are with him again this evening as he battles coronavirus, personally, and for the nation."
