There is disruption on local railways this week with passengers required to take a rail replacement bus.

Services between London Waterloo / Salisbury and Exeter St Davids are subject to delays due to engineering work which is taking place between Axminster and Honiton, closing all lines.

There is a rail replacement bus running between Exeter St. Davids and Axminster. Passengers travelling to Honiton will also need to take the bus.

The lines are scheduled to be back to normal on Friday 23 September.

There is additional planned engineering work on the line between Honiton and Axminster which will take place on the 15 and 16 of October. This work will close the line for the weekend and there will be a replacement bus.

The latest disruption comes after a summer of planned strikes, although the most recent strike was postponed because of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
