The Thelma Hulbert Gallery is hosting a series of workshops for families this half-term.

Following a series of successful workshops with Honiton Community College in 2022, Honiton's award-winning gallery is offering further cyanotype workshops with artist Nicky Thompson this Half Term.

Last year, Year 10 Photography students at Honiton Community College enjoyed their sessions which saw Thelma Hulbert Gallery site their Creative Cabin at the college for two days.

The courses gave the students the opportunity to experience traditional photographic developing skills and saw them create a variety of traditional photograms and experimental Cyanotypes, resulting in a series of artworks that not only have inspired them but will also count towards their GCSE portfolio.

This year, the half-day workshops are aimed at children aged over seven.

There will be a morning and an afternoon session on Wednesday 15 February. Plants and seeds from the garden will be used to create some beautiful, blue images which will be taken home.
