Volunteer 4 All, which is part of TRIP, is running accredited Emergency First Aid at Work courses in July and they are available to book now.
The course will take place on Wednesday 27 and Friday 29 July and it will cost £75.
Earlier in the year Volunteer 4 All ran a successful series of Defibrillator and CPR training courses, which gave over 50 people lifesaving skills. The feedback received in these sessions suggested that a First Aid at Work course would be popular.
Volunteer 4 All are this week also holding their second Paediatric First Aid Awareness course, where another 60 people have been provided with training and information on dealing with illnesses and emergencies involving children.
Caroline Retter told Nub News: "At Volunteer 4 All we are committed to providing high quality, accessible training to anyone who would like to access it.
"The cost of these specific courses we are offering is substantially lower than many other providers, to make it an affordable option to many who may not be able to afford it otherwise, and all the while maintaining the high standards for all of the training we provide.
"Although named Emergency First Aid at Work the skills learnt in this course can be adapted to everyday situations where a person may need assistance."
Volunteer 4 All is open to suggestions of training needed within the Honiton community. You can speak to them and book your place on the course via email on [email protected] or call you them on 01404 46529. Lines are open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm.
The Emergency First Aid at Work course will take place on Wednesday 27 and Friday 29 July at 9am and 4pm and it will cost £75 (plus £10 for a certificate).
