The Gate to Plate food festival is set to return to Honiton High Street this August after enjoying success in 2022 and 2021.
Gate to Plate is a free one-day festival which celebrates local food, drink and craft creators. It will take place this year on Saturday August 19.
Last summer more than 50 stalls turned out to tempt Honiton residents and they were greeted by large crowds who came out to browse the stalls and enjoy the sunshine.
There were stalls selling cheeses, gourmet meats, locally produced wine and cider, desserts and homewares, such as wax clingfilm. Hot food stalls in attendance included Thai food, specialist macaroni and cheese and churros.
The event is organised by eat: Festival who plan similar events across the South West, including in Taunton, Dawlish and Yeovil.
A spokesperson for eat: Festival said: "eat:Festivals are grown from the land around us. They bring the very best West Country food & drink producers and artisans together to markets in town centres across Somerset, Devon, Dorset, South Gloucestershire & Bristol.
"At all our events you can buy local food & drink directly from the producers in a safe, organised, outdoor environment. Fresh good food has never been so important for our health and the strength of our community."
If you run a local food, drink or craft business and would like to hire a stall at the event, there is still time to apply. You can find more information here.
