Thousands of locals and tourists flocked to the Honiton Show today.

Enormous crowds filled the grounds to enjoy the annual day out.

Many people arrived at the event in private cars, which led to long tailbacks on the A30 and associated roads.

The Honiton Show was established in 1880 and it is one of the largest agricultural shows in the country.

The events and activities included livestock judging, ferret racing, a vintage tractor show, dog agility, classic cars and a motorcycle display team.

Also on offer were a wide range of shops, food stalls and local business stands.
