Saturday 3 September: Where the Crawdads Sing

The Beehive, Honiton, 7.30pm.

Based on the bestselling book by Delia Owens and staring Daisy Edgar-Jones (Normal People), Garret Dillahunt, Harris Dickinson and Taylor John Smith.

Kya, an abandoned girl left to fend for herself, lives a mysterious life in the isolated marshlands of North Carolina. She opens herself up to a new world and becomes embroiled in a murder mystery.

Saturday 3 September: Otter Food Fest

Otter Garden Centre, 10 – 6pm. This is a free event but donations and volunteers are welcome.

Come along for a jampacked day of live music, great food stalls and children's entertainment, including The Secret Notes. There will also be a Wellbeing Area, Food Market, Cookery Demonstration Tent and a Chef Demo Tent.

The festival is a 15-minute walk from Ottery St. Mary and there will be shuttle buses coming from the library. There is limited parking so the organisers ask that visitors only drive if they have limited mobility.

6 August – 29 October: Ingrid Pollard Three Drops of Blood

Thelma Hulbert Gallery, Dowell St, Honiton.

2022 Turner Prize nominee Ingrid Pollard exhibits her new work, curated by talking on corners. This is the first time the artist has exhibited her work in East Devon.

Ingrid Pollard is recognised as one of the most influential British artists. She has broken new ground for younger generations, shaping Britain's understanding and histories of art, society and culture.
