East Devon District Council (EDDC) have shared a final reminder to anyone who has not yet applied for their £150 energy rebate.
The £150 grant is non-means tested.
The deadline for applying is today - August 31.
A statement from EDDC said: "We are urging all eligible residents to apply for their rebate to help towards the rises in energy bills.
"If you have already applied but have not yet received your money, please check the junk folder in your emails as we may have contacted you for more information in order to approve your claim.
"If you have misplaced your letter with information on how to apply, please contact us immediately here."
More than 90% of households have received their rebate, which was given automatically to homes who paid for their energy bills via direct debit.
Households which didn't pay via direct debit were sent letters inviting them to apply online or call the council.
In July, the rebate had already been given to more than 41,000 East Devon homes.
In order to be eligible, you need to satisfy the following criteria:
- The property must be in bands A, B, C or D (or E with a disablement reduction)
- The occupiers are liable for tax at the address and
- The property is their sole or main residence
The cost of energy is set to soar again in October when the energy price-cap will rise to £3,549. This is a rise of 80%.
