Friday: A Man called Otto

A Man called Otto is showing at The Beehive on Friday (Credit: The Beehive)

Based on the New York Times bestseller, A Man called Otto tells the story of Otto Anderson, a a grumpy widower whose only joy comes from criticising and judging his exasperated neighbours. An unexpected friendship with a new friend turns Otto's life upside-down. 

This feel-good film is one not to be missed!

The Beehive at 7.30pm. Tickets: Adults are £7.50 and under 16s are £6.50. The bar will be open before the screening and drinks purchased there can be taken into the film.

Saturday: Fairtrade Activity Day

Fairtrade Activity Day (The Honiton Fairtrade Group)

Honiton Library 10am - 1pm. 

Everyone is invited to pop into Honiton Library and find out more information about Fairtrade and the campaign to make Honiton a Fairtrade town.

There will be refreshments, an information display and lots of activities.

Saturday: Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Day

Honiton's Twin Tigers Martial Arts and Boxing Club is offering everyone the opportunity to try out Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at this special taster session.

The club is offering the following sessions: 

10am - Parent & Child Class (5 to 10 year olds)

11:30am - Parent & Child Class (11 year old plus)

1pm - Teen Class

2:30pm - Adult Class

3:30pm - Women Only class

No equipment is necessary - please just bring along a bottle of water and prepare to have some fun!
