The Citizen's Advice Bureau (CAB) has a new office in Honiton and its staff are thrilled to be back - why not come and meet the team at today's Community Fund Day?

The Honiton Citizens Advice is now located at 118 High Street.

The Citizens Advice is an advice centre which provides free support on a range of issues, including cost of living, energy billscouncil tax, grants and benefits, immigration and debt.

Sheran Taylor is the Operations Manager at Citizen's Advice East Devon. She is really pleased with the new Honiton offices and told Nub News: "The new office is absolutely incredible - it is almost as if someone read my mind in the universe and gave me everything I wanted.

"We have lovely interview rooms, spaces to work, a room which can be used for ideas, training and meetings.

"Anxious clients can be greeted at a separate door - or even if you have small children and want them to get out of the buggy and keep safe, we have an interview room now that is made for you."

Sheran encourages anyone who is in need of help, has a question or just needs to talk something through to pop in.

The team from Honiton Citizens Advice will also be attending a Community FunD Day at The Beehive from 10am. They hope to offer practical help to visitors. Sheran continued: "We are really excited about this event."

"The idea is that if you are thinking 'can I get help with anything?' or 'I am really struggling', we can help.

"My intention is that anyone attending will not go away empty handed - it is going to be a fun(d) day - even if it is the knowledge that you are claiming every single penny you have worked hard for, or even something more practical like free food or water saving devices."
