The Community FunD Day will take place today in The Beehive between 10am and 2pm.

The event is a collaboration between businesses such as South West Water, Citizens Advice Bureau, Honiton Town Council and other community groups such as Foodsave and the Community Swap Shop.

Guests will be able to seek advice or raise local issues with representatives from Honiton's MP or Honiton town councillors. They will also be able to have an instant benefits check and seek support with housing, jobs and energy bills.

Sheran Taylor is the Operations Manager at Citizen's Advice East Devon and she said: "We are really excited about this event.

"My intention is that anyone attending will not go away empty handed - it is going to be a fun(d) day - even if it is the knowledge that you are claiming every single penny you have worked hard for, or even something more practical like free food or water saving devices."

The Community FunD Day will take place at The Beehive in Honiton between 10am and 2pm.
