The Met Office have issued a Yellow Weather Warning for wind and rain for much of the south of England for Thursday 24 November.

Earlier this week, a Yellow Warning was in place for wind but there was also heavy rain experienced.

The warning is in place until 7pm tonight.

Heavy rain and squally winds could cause some disruption to transport disruption and might lead to flooding.

There is likely to be spray and surface water on roads, which will make journey times longer. There could be delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport too. Delays for high-sided vehicles travelling on exposed routes is also possible.

There may be flooding to homes and businesses and power might be lost.
