Three residents of Ottery appear in court after recent Devon drugs raid

Fourteen people have appeared in court charged with drugs supply within Devon and Cornwall.

The charges came after an investigation into suspected country lines drug supply and use. Nine warrants were used in searches across Devon and Cornwall in August 2022.

In East Devon and North Cornwall eight people were arrested and items including multiple kilograms of drugs, vehicles, mobile devices and cash were seized. 

On Tuesday 14 February, ten men and four women appeared at Exeter Magistrates' Court.

Four men were charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis and money laundering, including George Fallows (aged 39) of Ottery St. Mary. 

Seven people were charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis. This list includes Damien Carnell of Sidmouth, Paul Chapman of Sidford, Gary Hedgeland of Ottery St Mary and Kelly Thomas, also from Ottery St Mary.

Three people were charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis, including Julie William, of Sidmouth. 

The individuals who appeared in court have been released on court bail will appear before Exeter Crown Court on 3 March.
