Allhallows Museum Receives 70th Jubilee Beacon for Queen Elizabeth II

Honiton's mayor and town councillors presented a jubilee beacon to the Allhallows Museum.

Pictured above is Honiton's Mayor, Councillor Serena Sexton accompanied by Councillors Kate Cloke and Tony McCollum.

They are presenting the Beacon which was especially commissioned to celebrate the Queen's 70th Jubilee in 2022 to Allhallows museum personnel.

The Allhallows Museum is located in one of Honiton's oldest buildings and it contains a unique selection of the famous Honiton lace, pottery and artefacts and memorabilia.

On the extreme right is Margaret Lewis, Curator and second from the right is Rosemary Connett, Chair of All Hallows Trustees. 

The beacon was lit on June 2nd at the top of Roundball Hill.
