Saturday: Gate to Plate

The Gate to Plate festival is taking place on Saturday and the High Street will be closed for much of the day.

The popular food festival will showcase the best of local producers and will feature more than 60 stalls and shops. 

It is a free event where visitors can enjoy browsing and tasting locally made food. There will be hot food available as well as tempting items such as artisan cheese, unusual meats from butchers, chutneys, ciders and homewares.

Friday: Dirty Dancing

Come along to The Beehive's 80s extravaganza! As part of its Mega 1980s week, Dirty Dancing - the 1987 classic - will be showing this Friday. 

Relive the romance of Baby and Johnny as they prepare for Johnny's final summer show - and fall in love whilst they are it.

Saturday: Dalwood Country Fair

1pm - 5pm

Tickets will be available on the door - £3 and under 14s are free. Please note there are no card facilities available at the fair.

There will be plenty of games, delicious food and drink, craft stalls, a celebration of country skills and talent shows.

New for 2023 are the dog shows and agility courses. Bring your dog along to see if they win Best Treat Catcher, Handsomest Dog or Prettiest Bitch.
